A new recycling effort will be launched at Lucas Oil Stadium during the 2011 Indianapolis Colts season, city officials said Wednesday.
“RecyclingIndy” aims to encourage fans to deposit empty bottles and cans into one of more than 200 recycling bins at the stadium.
The “RecyclingIndy” logo will be co-branded onto the already existing “Give it Back” recycling bins provided by Coca-Cola.
“As the largest organization utilizing the stadium, we have a responsibility to set the standard for our fans,” Tom Zupancic, senior vice president of sales and marketing for the Indianapolis Colts, said in the release.
